Terms and Conditions On the Add New Article, where the visitor submits a new article, is a line that reads, "Clicking the Submit New Article button assumes that you have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions." When they click on that link, a new browser window is spawned and shows them a page at help/terms.php This is the " Service Agreement." It's the legal agreement between you, the website owner, and the submitter to the articles system on your site. A standard template is provided in that page. This is simply a suggestion. It is NOT meant as a recommendation and is certainly NOT meant as a guarantee of legal accuracy. It is simply provided as a starting point, if you wish to make some sort of terms and conditions for your article submitters. Again, no claims are made as to its worthiness, legality or usefulness. It is highly recommended that you edit it (with an html editor) to customize it for your website. Note that the title and address of your website are taken from the Configuration page. (Overview) |
