Q: How
can I get general Introductory information?
A: Click
here. Or you could email us (see bottom of page.)
Q: How
can I find out where courses are scheduled?
A: Click
here to submit a Schedule Request. Classes are sponsored by
hosts. And hosts are very friendly people. (That's how we do all
our courses. People volunteer to be hosts and have people come to
their home or office -- it's a very grass-roots thing.)
Q: How
are Ascension courses set up?
A: We generally
travel to various cities when we're invited to come give a course.
It's very informal. Just contact us and we'll chat.
First, a host (you?) volunteers
their living room or office for a course and then people just seem
to gather together and we have the weekend course.
Q: What
is a Weekend Course? And what happens there?
A: It’s where
people learn the Ishayas’ Teachings. It's Friday night, 7-9.
Saturday 10-5. Sunday 10-5.
Two teachers usually come to
every course, depending upon the size of the class. If there's
only 1 or 2 students, then it can be done by 1 teacher.
We ask $300 for the weekend. Cost
isn't dependent upon how many come. Sometimes it is only 2 or 3
people, but it all works out in the end.
You learn to ascend with the
first technique given on Friday evening. As we say in the course,
it's really the only technique you'll ever need to ascend. But
other techniques are good to accelerate the process and help it
flow. The weekend gives you everything you need.
And at any time after your first
weekend, you can repeat (or "audit") the class as many
times as you like, anywhere in the world, at no cost. (Many people
repeat the course lots of times, and always get something new out
of it.)
Q: How
many techniques are presented in a weekend?
A: There
are four techniques in each of Five Spheres of the Ishayas
Teachings: praise, gratitude, love and cognition. You receive the
first four techniques in the weekend course.)
Q: What's
daily practice entail?
A: We recommend
20 minutes of practice with the techniques, 2 or 3 times a day:
when arising, late afternoon and before bed. Maximum benefit comes
from steady use of the techniques.
Q: Does
it require years of practice?
A: No. In fact,
Ascension is effective immediately. We focus on
"effortlessness." It is simply not true that what
is your birthright, after all, needs to be difficult.
Q: Does
everyone "get" it?
A: We find
that "getting it" is not the problem. The main
difficulty we encounter is a person's mistaken belief that it's
not working when everyone around them is saying what remarkable
changes have occurred. Letting go of stress is all that's
required. And it can be easy.
Q: What
are the qualifications of the teachers?
A: Every teacher
takes a seven-month Training. Using the techniques at least 16
hours daily is required. At the end of the Training, a person has
let go of all stress in the nervous system, and has attained a
higher level of consciousness.
Q: How
much notice is required to take a weekend course?
A: Friday
evening, showing up at the door, is fine. Although usually
you'd want to communicate with the host of the course to let them
know you're coming. But it's OK to do that the day of the
course!
Q: How
can I find out more about hosting a course?
A: Basically, it
works like this: we are invited to people's homes, where we stay
during the weekend. Most people who host the teachers prefer the
teachers to stay at their house because they want to spend time
talking, etc. Sometimes, we sleep on living room
floors and sometimes in luxury bedrooms. We never know what to
expect, but that's what make life fun!
One of the things we live by is
"just accepting what the Universe has to offer, in each
moment." We’re mostly vegetarian, but we accept whatever.
Teachers expectations? Zero. We accept what the
Universe provides and are happy with that. Isn't that a great way
to live??
To get started with your desire
to host a course, simply email us (see below for email address).

Q: Are
there advanced courses or advanced classes?
A: There are
more techniques that help to accelerate the process. But you learn
how to ascend at the weekend course. Thus, no other classes are
needed to begin using the advanced techniques.
And during the weekend, we
discuss what more is available to you: Advanced Weekends, Advanced
Techniques, Retreats, and a lot more...
